Terms of Service

1. The service

Printer Ready is a browser-based tool that runs pre-flight checks and applies fixes (such as adding bleed and crop marks, or converting RGB to CMYK) to print files. All processing happens in your browser; your files are not uploaded to our servers.

2. Accounts and free checks

New users get 2 free checks without an account, and 3 more after creating and verifying an account. After that, checks require credits. We may suspend accounts that abuse the free-check system (for example, repeatedly creating new accounts to bypass limits).

3. Credits and payments

• 1 credit = 1 file check. Credits never expire.
• The Unlimited pack grants unlimited checks for 12 months from the date of purchase.
• Payments are processed by Stripe in GBP (£).
• Prices include VAT where applicable.

4. Refunds

Because credits are digital goods that can be used immediately, statutory withdrawal rights may not apply once any credit from a pack has been used. If you believe you've been charged in error, or a payment failed, please contact us and we'll review your case on its merits.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for files you do not have the right to process.
• Attempt to bypass free-check limits, payment, or access controls.
• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or overload the service.
• Upload illegal, infringing, or harmful content via the contact form.

6. Print results disclaimer

The checks and fixes we provide are intended as a helpful pre-flight aid. They are not a guarantee that a file will print correctly on any specific press, paper or with any specific printer. Always do a final visual review of the fixed file before sending to print. We are not liable for print costs or reprints arising from issues we did not detect or fix.

7. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you have paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

8. Termination

You can stop using the service or delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced on the site. Continued use after a change means you accept the new terms.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
